Positive Behaviour Management

Our proactive, strength-based approach to nurturing good character, discipline, and a thriving school community.

Our Philosophy

Behaviour Shaped by Values

At Trinity, we believe that great behaviour is taught, not just expected. Our Positive Behaviour Management (PBM) framework is built on research-backed strategies that celebrate what students do right, rather than focusing solely on what they do wrong.

We create a culture where students feel safe, valued, and motivated — and where excellent conduct is the norm because students genuinely want to be their best selves.

Our 3-R Framework

Recognize
Celebrate positive behaviour publicly and privately.
Redirect
Gently guide off-track behaviour back to expectation.
Repair
Use restorative conversations to heal and learn from mistakes.
Strategies

How We Reinforce Good Behaviour

Star of the Week

Outstanding students are recognized weekly with a certificate and special mention in the morning assembly.

Merit Points System

Students earn points for academic achievement, helpfulness, creativity, and good conduct. Top earners are rewarded each term.

Peer Mentoring

Senior students are trained to mentor juniors, building leadership skills and a supportive school culture.

Positive Reinforcement

Teachers use praise, encouragement, and rewards rather than punishment to shape behaviour and motivate students.

Class Dojo

Our school uses digital tools to track and celebrate positive behaviour in real time with parents informed instantly.

Restorative Circles

When conflicts arise, structured restorative conversations help students understand impact and repair relationships.
