Library Rules

Absolute silence must be maintained in the library. Conversations must be in a very low whisper only if necessary.

Handle books with care. Do not fold pages, write in books, or damage spines. Damaged books will be charged to the borrower.

Students may borrow up to 2 books at a time for 7 days. Books must be returned on or before the due date.

A fine of ₹2 per day will be charged for overdue books. Lost books must be replaced or paid for at current price.

Mobile phones must be switched off inside the library. Earphones and headsets are not permitted.

Food, beverages, and chewing gum are strictly prohibited inside the library.

Students must carry their library card when borrowing or returning books. Cards are non-transferable.

Reference books are for in-library use only and cannot be borrowed. Photocopying must be done with librarian permission.
